The Art of Parking

Lol. It's Monday, 12:20 pm. For people in the city it means one thing- if your car is parked on the right hand side of the road, you had better be in it. The street cleaners come to clean the right side of the street on every Monday, from 12-2 (or maybe 11-3). At any rate, to maintain your beautiful parking spot, you either have to find a new spot (impossible) or you have to wait for the street cleaners to come, pull forward, and then pull backward when they are finished. It is an unspoken understanding and communication that takes place between the thirty cars on the block and between the street cleaner himself. It is all orchestrated quite well and is fascinating to watch. I highly recommend it for the bored. Which is me.
