Swiss Parenting Rules

The rules of parenting in Switzerland, according to my observations, are as follows:

It is perfect acceptable:
1.  for five year olds to wear diapers and in fact is shocking that a two year old is NOT in a diaper
2.  to let your five year old diaper wearing son run around without any pants on in public, because he is wearing a sweatshirt
3.  to allow your children run in the streets without shoes
4.  to permit your five year old child to run along side a moving tram, touching it and trying to jump on it whilst you smile from one hundred meters away
5. to not parent in the midst of your child being naughty
6.  to be no where in sight of your child
7.  to let your child knock other children off play equipment
8. to allow your children to play in prickly ivy thus giving them a horrendous leg rash (I contributed that one.... you're welcome my babies)
