No Ma'am

When I say "no" to Gabriela, 99% of the time I say, "no ma'am." And, generally speaking, I usually don't say the phrase very often. If Gabi is doing something she's not supposed to, like standing on the chair, I'll say, "Gabi, we sit in chairs." This one particular day, I guess I had said "no ma'am" more than I thought and Gabi was driving me bonkers feeding the dog. I looked at her and said sternly, "NO." She returned the look and said, "MA'AM. NO MA'AM." She actually emphasized the 'ma'am' portion of it. Well, at least I'll give her that. :) Stinker.
