Redemption

Today started out better. My mother in law must have used her red line becuase somehow my devil incarnate transformed back into the little angel I have always known. As I pushed the stroller down the hallway towards our apartment, I squatted next to Gabriela and told her I was so proud of her for behaving today. And she said, "I'm proud of you too."
"You ARE? Why?"
"Because I love you."
"Gabi! I love you too! You're the best."
"No Mommy. You're the best."
"No Gabi, YOU are the best."
"No Mommy. You are the best in the WHOLE world."
I like her again. :)
