A Redneck Prayer

Ben took the kids to Texas for Thanksgiving this week.  The education they missed in school was made up for by learning skills of survival.  Ben took my boy hunting on Monday.  Hunting, mind you, consisted of mostly walking through the woods tracking deer and listening for them.  He loved it (and by "he" - you could pick either one).  At some point, Colton asked Ben, "So, when are we going to get to shoot a deer?"  That kid just loves him some destruction and death.

A couple days later, Colton got to try his hand at fishing- not too shabby!  And my little love finished out his week in Texas with the "sweetest" prayer on his last night:
"Dear God,
Thank you for deer, thank you for guns, thank you for knives, thank you for Uncle Robert.  Please let me have a baby brother, and please let me name him Spider Man.  Oh.  And thank you for deer antler.s.  Amen."
God help the little animals when he's old enough to purchase his own weaponry.
